Thank you for considering me for your pet portrait. My aim is to be able to capture your pet perfectly to get you the best portrait possible. Each portrait takes around 25 hours for an A4 size, and a lot more for the larger sizes.

Therefore if you need your portrait in time for a special occasion, please contact me for a lead time, as this will depend on my workload.

They say a good photo makes a good portrait and this is so true! You’ll need to send me a selection of photos to choose from, as many as possible please. However, as I focus on fine details it is very important your photos show as much detail as possible. High resolution digital images are the best. As I work from the photo on my Ipad (as it helps when I need to zoom in), electronic images are preferable. However, if you only have a hard copy of a photo, that no problem as I will return them with your portrait. Please see tips on photographing your horse or dog on this website.

Once we have discussed and agreed the size and medium, you will have a time slot allocated in the work calendar. You will need to pay a 30%, non-refundable deposit to secure the booking.

Nearer to the start date, I will be in contact with you for confirmation of the proposed photograph we will use in the creation of your pet portrait. Once you have confirmed you are happy, I will proceed. Progress of your portrait will updated via my Facebook page, so it’s easy to check on how your portrait is doing, you can watch it ‘come to life’!

On completion of your pet portrait, you will need to pay the balance. Once I have received the final payment I will dispatch your portrait.

Should you desire further prints, or maybe a series of greeting cards (miniature duplicates of your portrait), I can provide them, just ask for details.

Please be aware that I retain copyright on all artwork which I have produced.
